Kim Kardashian is keeping up with her acting career.
Less than a year after making her debut in American Horror Story: Delicate, the Kardashians star has landed a new role—and this time it's the lead in a suspenseful movie, E! News can confirm.
And while the film's plot and title are being kept under wraps, there are a couple details that have been shared. For one, the project is an original thriller written by Natalie Krinsky, who's best known for penning the romantic comedy Broken Hearts Gallery and writing TV series like Gossip Girl. And Krinsky will also serve as a producer alongside Bruna Papandrea, Reese Witherspoon's co-founder at Made Up Stories, a.k.a the production company behind Big Little Lies. Bruna has also produced Gone Girl, The Undoing and Wild.
Though a longtime reality star, Kim's first recurring acting role aired in September 2023, when she starred on American Horror Story: Delicate as character Siobhan, publicist and best friend to costar Emma Roberts' Anna Victoria Alcott.
And the SKIMS founder—who will return for part two on April 3—has already left fans pleasantly surprised by her fierce performance.
After watching the show's premiere, one user wrote on X (formerly known as Twitter), "Hold on because why is Kim Kardashian eating this."
And it's no surprise Kim came to impress. After all, the 42-year-old revealed she was taking acting lessons to prepare for the part.
"It's a challenge," Kim told Variety in May. "I like to challenge myself."
She went on to note that she was simply "excited about the experience," adding, "It's really fun to step outside of your comfort zone and try something new and grow."
And acting isn't the only way Kim's stepped out of her comfort zone. Keep reading to see how she's also evolved her style over the years.
