What You Need to Know About 24: Redemption
Jack Bauer (Kiefer Sutherland) is back and not a moment too soon. Apparently, the diabolical Gen. Juma (Tony Todd) is plotting a coup in the fictional African country of Sangala, and to do so, he needs child soldiers who can wield the automatic rifles provided by a wicked American mogul named Jonas Hodges (Jon Voight).
The story of Jack versus Juma and Jonas is told in 24: Redemption, the two-hour TV movie that is meant to tide us fans over until 24 the series returns for Day Eight in early 2009. It's a thrilling outing—I like to call it Jack Bauer Saves Children. (How has no one thought of making this movie before?)
I got a sneak peek last week, and I have the inside dish on what you need to know about the return of everybody's favorite TV superagent:

Chuck Video Sneak: Nicole Richie Knows Kung Fu!
Check it out! Nicole Richie guest stars on Chuck Mon., Oct. 20. I've seen the episode and not only is Richie surprisingly good, but it's the best Chuck ep so far this season.
Richie plays Sarah's (Yvonne Strahovski) high school nemesis, but after a seemingly coincidental meeting at the Buy More, Chuck's (Zachary Levi) flashes reveal that Richie's character Heather Chandler (a Heathers reference, for sure) and her husband (Ben Savage) may be entangled in some major industrial espionage. Therefore, Sarah has every reason to kick Heather's ass.

Jay Manuel Dishes on New Series: "It's Not a Spinoff"
Three things you need to know right away about the CW's just-revealed new makeover show with Top Model's Jay Manuel and J. Alexander:
1. It is not a spinoff.
2. It is not a straight-up makeover show.
3. The original series is not going anywhere—and neither are the J's.
Also, the premise of the new pilot, called Operation Fabulous, is far more interesting than what you've read!
Thankfully, the one and only Mr. Jay himself just rang me up to clear up the misinformation, giving us preliminary details that aren't out there yet...

Grey's Dissection: After the Flood
But God remembered Noah and all the beasts and all the cattle that were with him in the ark; and God caused a wind to pass over the earth, and the water subsided. Genesis 8:1
Grey's Anatomy returned tonight with another strong outing, "Here Comes the Flood." The Chief read his staff the riot act; the hospital pipes burst, forcing everyone to take high ground; and, as per usual, a bunch of beautiful people mooned over each other. Good times!

Brother Against Brother: Pick a Winchester
OK, I've gotten the feeling lately that even though the Winchester brothers would go to hell and back for each other, the fans of Supernatural may play favorites between the CW demon-hunting twosome.
So, since our previous fan debates have been so fascinating, we're going to open up the floor on the topic "Which Winchester do you love more, and why?"
Vote in the poll below, and then post your essays in favor of either Sammy or Dean in the comments. Sometime around Election Day (Nov. 4 here in the U.S.), we'll post the results of which Winchester won the poll. We'll also post the best essay in favor of the winner, and maybe even a couple of runner-up essays, if you fans wax particularly rhapsodic in favor of your choice.
Good luck and have fun!
