It's a very good day for Martha Stewart.

After her Chow Chow Genghis Khan was killed in a fire three years ago, the domestic diva finally has something to smile about as the pup's heir, Genghis Khan II, conquered big-time on the first day of the Westminster Dog Show, taking home the blue ribbon for Best in Breed.

We wonder what you're putting in those doggie treats, Martha.

"Ghenghis khan did it! Best of Breed at Westminster!!!! Big Deal," tweeted the 70-year-old Stewart.

With the 136th edition of the world's most famous canine competition now in full swing, Stewart turned up for this morning's early round at Madison Square Garden to cheer her fluffy 3-month-old pet Pekingese on. She later posed for pictures with Genghis along with his handler, Jan Kolnick and his co-owner and breeder, Karen Tracy.

Next up, Genghis will compete tonight in the non-sporting category for the title of Best in Group and a victory here would be icing on the cake for the kitchen extraordinaire—not to mention bringing Genghis one step closer to being named World's Best Breed, which will be decided in Tuesday night's finals.

Before Genghis the II's rousing four-legged run before the judges, Stewart was earlier spotted chowing down at the Plaza on Sunday with the pup sitting patiently by her side.

If he keeps up this performance, dare we say Genghis's owner will be treating him to many a fancy meal from now on (would you like some Grey Poupon with that?).
