Russell Brand just became the latest victim of a celebrity death hoax.
Rumors began to circulate Saturday that the 37-year-old Arthur star had died, after Global Associated News posted a story saying Brand passed away in Switzerland when he lost control of his snowboard and struck a tree.
And the Brit couldn't help but to crack a joke (and confirm the death hoax was just that) when the story made its way to him.
"Bloody hell. I better cancel the milk," Brand tweeted Saturday, along with a link to the fake death post.
The self-proclaimed fake website appears to have a thing for offing celebs via snowboarding accidents.
Just last month, Global Associated News posted a story saying Brad Pitt died the same way Brand supposedly had—after losing control of his snowboard and striking a tree in Switzerland.
Perhaps it's time for the site to get some new material.
