Britney Spears still believes in love—at least that's what her hoodie tells us.

The former X Factor judge stepped out Monday in L.A. for the first time since she and Jason Trawick confirmed they were no longer engaged.

The 31-year-old mom dressed down for the outing, looking chic and casual in her statement hoodie, workout pants and boots. She smiled as she walked back to her car carrying two drinks from Coffee Bean.

A source tells E! News Brit and Jason broke off their engagement because they "were going in different directions. Britney wanted more kids, and Jason wasn't in the same place so they decided to call it quits."

"There was a mutual realization that there was no compromise on that issue, and because of that, sadly, the relationship had no future," adds the source.

That said, Ms. Spears and her ex are "still very good friends and stay in contact." And from the looks of things, the newly single star doesn't seem too bummed out about life. After all, she's still Britney, bitch!
