One of Kate Middleton's hoaxsters has been reinstated.

Michael Christian, the Australia DJ who, along with partner Mel Greig, was suspended in December after a prank call they placed to the pregnant Duchess of Cambridge's London hospital prompted a nurse there to commit suicide, is back on the job.

Per Oz's Radio Today, Christian has resumed his duties—this time hosting Melbourne-based FoxFM's morning show. No word yet when Greig will return to work.

"We are happy to have Michael back on air," said Rhys Holleran, CEO of the station's owner, Austereo. "We have always supported our talent returning to work when appropriate, and today marks that occasion for Michael. We look forward to welcoming Mel Greig back when the time is right."

The radio personalities sparked outrage after placing a call to London's King Edward VII Hospital—where Kate was being treated for an acute form of morning sickness—in which they pretended to be Queen Elizabeth II and Prince Charles in order to glean information about the royal's condition.

Christian and Greig quickly apologized for the joke and took down a recording of their conversation with the staffers. Sadly, however, Jacintha Saldanha—one of the workers who put their call through to nurses who divulged private details about Middleton's condition—took her own life three days later.

Consequently, the duo's Hot 30 program on Sydney's 2DayFM was axed, and the two were forced to take a leave of absence.

Luckily for them, an investigation by the U.K.'s Crown Prosecution Service found no evidence to support a possible manslaughter charge against them, and they were off the hook—though not before they expressed their deep regret over Saldanha's death.
