Seth MacFarlane's jokes can sometimes rub people the wrong way, but he isn't using yesterday's tragic event to draw some laughs.

An altered Family Guy clip, which attempts to make jokes about the Boston marathon bombing that occurred yesterday, is making the rounds on the Internet, and the former Oscar host is letting everyone know he wasn't behind it.

"The edited Family Guy clip currently circulating is abhorrent," MacFarlane tweeted. "The event was a crime and a tragedy, and my thoughts are with the victims."

Using clips stitched together from an earlier episode, the video shows "Boston marathon winner" Peter Griffin being interviewed by a news anchor who asked, "How did you do it?"

It then cuts to Peter at the Drunken Clam dialing a number on his cell phone, which then sets off an explosion.

"Damn phone's busted. Maybe I dialed wrong," Griffin said, and proceeded to dial again, setting off the second explosion which was followed by screams.

A pair of explosions rocked the finish line of the Boston marathon yesterday afternoon. Three people have been reported dead and 180 injured as of now.

Numerous celebrities have taken to Twitter to voice their concern and well-wishes, including those who hold Beantown close to their hearts.
