While Madonna opted to go pantless last night, other stars decided one pair of bottoms wasn't enough. Several celebs layered pants—er, let's call them special leggings—under their ball gowns.

Jessica Biel went with a strapless Giambattista Valli combo with mullet style skirt (short in the front, long in the back), which allowed her matching mesh-like leggings to be seen. Nina Dobrev also wore a similar Monique Lhuillier style. The big difference? Nina's slim pantsuit had a tulle ball gown skirt layered on top.

New York Giant's wide reciever Victor Cruz's long time girlfriend Elaina Watley went for full glamour with a cyrstal-beaded jacket  and black taffeta ballskirt with matching pants from Naeem Khan. Adding a pop of color to the trend, Jessica Paré wore a cobalt blue Jason Wu top with black pants and stappy sandals.
