Avengers fans, Clark Gregg is listening!

Since it was revealed that Gregg would reprise his role as fan favorite Agent Phil Coulson in ABC's highly anticipated Marvel's Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D., fans have been speculating just exactly how Coulson comes back to life after his heartbreaking death in The Avengers. (Hello, #CoulsonLives!) And yes, Gregg has read all of your theories!

So which fan theories is Gregg a fan of? We caught up with S.H.I.E.L.D.'s leading man at ABC and Disney's International upfront presentation in Burbank, Calif., to find out! Plus, new agents Brett Dalton and Ming-Na Wen reveal to us which of the Avengers their characters would get along with...and which they'd definitely clash with!

"I was a big fan of the Vision theory, although I wasn't sure I wanted to be an A.I.," he tells us of theories he's heard from fans and read online. "The life model decoy, that's a great theory."

Of course, Gregg won't tell us if any of those theories are correct, but teases, "I think that the answer people will get is cooler than anything I've ever read." We expect nothing less from Joss Whedon!

Aside from how Coulson lives, fans are nerding out over his car, lovingly called Lola, which we met in the series' (epic!) trailer. "I love Lola. It's a beautiful car, born the same year as myself," Gregg says with a laugh. "The fact that he calls it Lola is just hilariously nerdy Phil Coulson, and I think, like with Phil Coulson, there's more story to come with Lola!"

Dalton and Wen take on the new roles of agents Grant Ward, who is highly trained in combat, and Melinda May, an expert pilot and martial artist, and we were curious to know which of the Avengers they could see their characters getting along with and clashing with.

"I think Tony Stark and I might be sizing each other up the entire time, like, who's the biggest person in the room," Dalton says of Robert Downey Jr.'s character, while he believes Ward and Bruce Banner aka the Hulk "would probably get along well because he doesn't talk very much and I only talk when I have to as well. He's probably pretty nice, keeps to himself…before he's Hulk!"

As for Wen, she predicts, "Captain America and I, I think we would work out really well together." Careful now, we all know how Coulson feels about Cap!

Marvel's Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. will air Tuesdays at 8 p.m. on ABC this fall.
