Jennifer Aniston is the face of the 2013 Key to the Cure campaign, a cancer research fund.

The A-list actress was announced as the ambassador by Saks Fifth Avenue and the Entertainment Industry Foundation earlier this week, and will be appearing in a public service announcement for the cause.

Aniston will also be featured in the print advertisements wearing an adorable Emilio Pucci limited edition T-shirt.

The campaign is slated to begin in magazines and on television in September.

"I'm so honored to join the Entertainment Industry Foundation and Saks Fifth Avenue in their continued efforts to raise funds for promising scientific research through EIF's Women's Cancer Research Fund," Aniston said in a statement.

"My hope is that everyone will contribute to this worthy cause by purchasing a Key to the Cure T-shirt by Emilio Pucci."

Peter Dundas of Emilio Pucci created the shirt that will retail for $35 at Saks stores across the country beginning on Oct. 1.

For years now, Aniston has taken cancer causes under her wing.

In 2011, she directed one of five short films that comprised Lifetime's Project Five, a group of movies dealing with women battling breast cancer.

"Our hope with Project Five is to entertain, inform and inspire dialogue, research and prevention. Otherwise, our goals are small," Aniston said at the time.

Aniston has also been a longtime supporter for Stand Up to Cancer, an annual televised program that features many of Hollywood's famous faces raising money for the devastating disease.

The former Friends star has lent her face to a few new things this year.

Last October, Aniston was dubbed the spokesperson and co-owner of the Living Proof hair care line.

And in January, it was announced that she would be the new face of Aveeno skin care. Her television and print ads began running in early spring.

She's certainly using her fame for a good cause!
