Olivia Wilde is no bridezilla!

Jason Sudeikis' fiancée, who landed the cover of InStyle for the August 2013 issue, told the magazine that even though her upcoming nuptials are technically her big day, she wants her bridesmaids to look gorgeous too.

The actress shared that rather than "that tortured tradition of forcing them to wear a ridiculous dress they'll never wear again. . .They'll have a real creation tailored for each of them. They can dye it black or purple and wear it forever."

As for her dress, the 29-year-old confirmed that she (and her bridesmaids) will be wearing Monique Lhuillier.

Although we predicted the star might go with a Reem Acra creation, her final choice also makes sense considering she often opts for Lhuillier's gowns at red carpet events.

But as excited as we are to see the brunette beauty in her wedding dress, she says she's not in a rush to walk down the aisle.

"I love this engagement thing. It's like its own period in my life, and I really want to inhabit it," she shares.

Indeed, the soon-to-be newlyweds have certainly been having a PDA packed year: smooching on the streets of New York City and cuddling at Disneyland. Then there's the romantic Hawaiian vacation the duo took in May—perhaps an early honeymoon?

Olivia explains that their seemingly blissful relationship works because she completely trusts Jason:

""I like having a real partner. It's the model I grew up with. It's part of why I was able to take so many chances in my life, because I felt like someone was watching my back. I could never imagine life without someone I respect, someone who offers me infinite possibilities," she says, adding: "There are spikes and dips and plateaus in this business. I've seen couples fall apart through it, and it is heartbreaking. You wonder what will happen—will he love me if I'm not as successful? Will jealousy kill us? I know there will be times when Jason is working more than I am, but I'm actually excited by that. I'm excited by what he will become, what depth he has."
