Just how photogenic is Nicole Kidman?
Vogue Germany decided to feature not one but two shots of the Australian actress on its August 2013 covers!
That's right, both Camilla Akrans and Patrick Demarchelier shot the cover girl for two versions of the fashion magazine's cover. And though each fashion photographer focused on Kidman's face, each took a drastically different approach to executing extreme close-ups of the star.
Awash in sunny lighting, Kidman gives off an ethereal quality in Akrans' cover. Her loose, face-framing curls and the miniature swan she holds up to her lips lend a soft, dreamy feeling to pretty picture.
Meanwhile, Demarchelier opted for a sleeker look, choosing to run with a classic black-and-white shot that hides Kidman's lovely locks under a floppy-brimmed hat.
Of course, the 46-year-old looks absolutely stunning in each shot, which doesn’t surprise us, given the fact that she’s wowed us seven—yes, seven!—times as the cover girl of American Vogue.
Plus, she recently convinced us that despite nearing 50 years of age, she’s nowhere near losing her sex appeal, thanks to a steamy Jimmy Choo campaign that saw her vamping it up in sexy stilettos and over-the-knee boots for the luxury shoe line’s autumn/winter 2013 campaign.
"I really enjoyed being able to play a role that was strong, sexy and in control," Kidman said in a statement about her Jimmy Choo ads.
In addition to modeling for the footwear company, Kidman has also lent her famous face to other luxury brand campaigns, including Chanel No. 5 and Omega watches.
But make no mistake about it, Kidman's more than just a pretty face.
The star, who serves as a UN Women Goodwill Ambassador, received a humanitarian award from the Cinema for Peace foundation today for her work promoting women's rights.
Kidman attended the honorary dinner in Berlin clad in an embellished light blue dress, white pumps and eye-catching drop earrings.
She posed alongside fellow honoree, Lakshmi Puri, on the red carpet of the event.
