You are cordially invited to attend the highly anticipated wedding of Ms. Robin Scherbatsky and Mr. Barney Stinson. And spoiler alert: It's going to be legendary!

The final season of How I Met Your Mother is just a few months away and we've got all the inside scoop on what fans can expect from the longest wedding weekend in TV's history. The HIMYM cast and creators took the stage Saturday for their first and last Comic-Con panel to spill plenty of secrets about the comedy's ninth season — and we've snagged them all for you!

But first we have to share with you the most hilarious video we've seen in a very long time! Any HIMYM fan knows that Ted (Josh Radnor) started the series years ago by sitting his kids down and promising to tell them to tale of how he met their mother. Have you been wondering what those Mosby children have been up to for the past eight years?

Well, the creators of the CBS hit are giving us an update on the world's most patient son and daughter. Lyndsy Fonseca and David Henrie are back on the living room couch and they're not happy at all!  Take a look at the video below for a peak at life in 2038 with Ted's foul-mouthed kids.

Here's what else HIMYM cast and creators Carter Bays and Craig Thomas revealed:

Meeting the Mother: Radnor was quick to gush about his first encounter about his future on-screen wife, Cristin Milioti, saying, "Right when she walked on set it was kind of like, 'Oh there she is!' It was this feeling of yes, that's her." The actor continues, "We're a very tight-nit group of five… and to add in this iconic mystery person could've been not great and she's so great. I couldn't be happier." Aww!

Fans also will get the change to fall in love with the mother. Bays explains, "We, like you, want to get to know this girl. We want to see Ted happy and we want to see the great moments that are ahead of him once he meets this girl." Thomas adds, "Ultimately, we wanted you the fans to meet the mother before Ted even gets to meet her and we're going to spend season nine getting to know her."

A Gaggle of Guest Stars: Since the entire season will take place over the course of one very special wedding weekend, you can bet that we'll have plenty of blasts from the past in attendance. Bays beams, "We're throwing a wedding and everyone's invited! If there's someone that you've loved over the past eight years on this show, there's a good chance that they'll be there." We know for sure that Barney's brother James (Wayne Brady) will be coming back, but unfortunately he's not bringing good news with him. Harris reveals, "We find out at the wedding that James is getting a divorce. So that puts things into a little bit of a pickle."

Robin Sparkles Returns: It wouldn't be a complete final season unless we knew that our favorite Canadian pop star, Robin Sparkles, would be making a final appearance. Thomas teased, "We can't confirm nor deny but it's a wedding and people sing songs at weddings." However we did learn that Robin (Cobie Smulders) and Barney's (Neil Patrick Harris) first dance as a married couple will be absolutely legendary. (Hint: There will be glitter cannons!)

Slap Bet: Wimbledon Edition: To date, we know that Marshall (Jason Segel) still has two slaps left and the creators promise to feature these high-fives to the face in the best way possible. Carter boasted, "There's going to be an episode in the middle of the season that plays during the course of one slap. Like we're going to get the tennis camera that the US Open uses that takes like a minute to look at someone's serve and that's going to be a slap and you're going to be flashing back and forth." That sounds both amazing and extremely painful. Poor Barney!

Extra Goodies: The creators revealed that fans will finally get the answer to one of HIMYM's greatest mysteries: The origin of the pineapple on the nightstand. We're also going to be treated to another over-the-top musical number, and a few new songs sprinkled throughout the year.

Don't miss the beginning of the end when How I Met Your Mother premieres Monday, September 23 on CBS.
