Surprise!

Tom Cruise was the latest celeb to photobomb a snapshot after he jumped behind the cast of his upcoming film Edge of Tomorrow while the group was taking a picture at Comic-Con.

Director Doug Liman, TV personality Chris Hardwick, actress Emily Blunt, producer Erwin Stoff, actor Bill Paxton and screenwriter Christopher McQuarrie posed for a photo onstage, and Cruise attempted to be included by putting his arms way up high (no one wants to be left out!).

The cast and crew spoke at the Warner Bros. and Legendary Pictures preview of the film during the San Diego convention yesterday.

Cruise told the crowd that he's always wanted to come to Comic-Con and was especially excited to see everyone's elaborate costumes.

He also said his greatest aspiration is to entertain, calling it a dream and an honor.

WATCH: This Breaking Bad mashup is epic

In the film, Cruise plays a soldier who realizes he has the power to repeat the same day over and over again, a day that just so happens to be crucial in the outcome of a war against alien invaders.

"The alien invasion film has now become a trope, and people understand the language of this kind of genre," the actor said. "And now we can really get into this kind of fun character journey."

Edge of Tomorrow is slated for a summer 2014 release.
