The year of Jennifer Lawrence continues!

The Oscar winner has just landed 2013's biggest cover: Vogue's September issue.

Sporting her tousled bob with bangs the star was snapped for the magazine by iconic photographer Mario Testino.

Inside the fall fashion issue, the 22-year-old poses seductively in Dolce & Gabbana inside a flower shop and flashes her signature grin while sharing a bench with three of man's best friends in a Prada ensemble.

Despite having a intensely busy schedule—she filmed The Hunger Games: Catching Fire, X-Men: Days of Future Past and American Hustle all back-to-back—the Kentucky native joked she couldn't pass up working on the latter David Russell flick mainly because of her love interest: "I got to make out with Christian Bale," she quips.

True, J.Law has reached the point in which she gets to smooch Batman on camera, but she swears she wasn't always an instant success.

"I was a horrible student, and I kept getting grounded every time my report card came out," she explains.

Yet she pressed on with acting because she says it was the one area that she earned real praise. "I know it sounds so stupid," she says "But it was kind of like I finally found something people were telling me I was good at, which I had never heard, ever."

Her sudden ascendance to the A-list didn't come without its repercussions, however. The star is adjusting to no privacy thanks to constant attention from the paparazzi.

"If I were just your average 23-year-old girl," she says, "and I called the police to say that there were strange men sleeping on my lawn and following me to Starbucks, they would leap into action. But because I am a famous person, well, sorry, ma'am, there's nothing we can do. It makes no sense."

Adding: "You have to make peace with it. I am just not OK with it," she says. "It's as simple as that. I am just a normal girl and a human being, and I haven't been in this long enough to feel like this is my new normal. I'm not going to find peace with it."

Another thing she is totally OK with now? Her relationship with boyfriend and X-Men costar Nicholas Hoult. She even joked about the couple's breakup:

"I wake up earlier in the morning when I have new sponges. That counter doesn't even see it coming. [Hoult] would never wring them out. We were in the kitchen once, and I picked up the sponge, and it was soapy and wet, and I was like, 'See? These are the kinds of things that make me think we are never going to work.'"

Luckily the on-again couple seems to have worked out their household cleaning woes.
