Chris Brown Vows to "Fulfill My Requirements as a Man" With Community Service

Singer has been sentenced to 1,000 more hours of work

Chris Brown is taking steps in the right direction.

The singer tweeted that he was going to begin his latest community service stint and talked about setting an example for his young fans.

"I'm truly happy to have fans and life. Even wit the bs. Can't make a leader..," he said. "They have to be chosen by the people."

Brown, who was recently sentenced to 1,000 more hours of community service, also vowed to complete the court-ordered work shortly.

"The community service isn't a problem anymore. Ill do what ever duty I need too to fulfill my requirements as a man and a leader," he wrote.

Brown negotiated his new sentence just last week in a Los Angeles court.

In exchange for the new hours of community service, the Los Angeles District Attorney agreed to dismiss their request to rescind Brown's probation after he was involved in an alleged hit-and-run accident earlier this summer.

But it appears that his latest legal woes didn't sit well with the "Turn Up the Music" singer.

At one point, he told his attorney out loud in the courtroom, "I understand. I understand. I am going to say whatever I want to. It's how I feel. I don't care."

It took three meetings in the judge's chambers for the agreement to be reached.

Shortly after the hearing, he took to Twitter to vent his frustrations in a series of anger-filled tweets.

Brown tweeted, "Ni--a done 6 months community service wit police and the DA racist ass crying to the judge that I didn't do it. F--k the SYSTEM!"

He continued, "How about y'all take care of all the homeless kids and families on skid row. Promote helping people that are really f--ked up in your city!...Family first! The LAW...last...I paint pics of monsters because its a reflection of u bitchass ni--as and this bitchass system!"

Well it looks like Brown has done an about-face and come to accept the road ahead of him.
