Just about everyone in Hollywood has weighed in on Miley Cyrus' scandalous performance at the 2013 MTV VMAs, but now it's time for Robin Thicke's side to come forward.

His mother, Gloria Loring, opened up to OMG! Insider about what she thought of the scantily clad, ultra-suggestive number. And she's not exactly painting herself a fan of the former Disney starlet.

"I don't understand what Miley Cyrus is trying to do," she said. "I just keep thinking of her mother and father watching this."

It seems that, like many other viewers who tuned in to see the "We Can't Stop" performance, Thicke's mother was startled by all the grinding and apparent lack of boundaries.

Loring added, "I was not expecting her to be putting her butt that close to my son. The problem is, now I can never unsee it."

But despite the review, Thicke's mother did seem concerned for the young star, saying, "I think she's misbegotten in this attempt of hers. And I think it was not beneficial. I didn't get what her point was."

"It was so over the top as to almost be a parody of itself," she said.

And while Loring clearly wasn't a fan of Cyrus' live rendition of her hit song, it appears that Thicke's wife, Paula Patton, wasn't nearly as bothered by the whole thing.

According to TMZ, the stunning actress knew from the get-go that things were going to get heated onstage and wasn't surprised at all by Cyrus' crotch-grab or groping.

Then again, she did let him prance around with a few naked models in his rather explicit "Blurred Lines" music video.

Now that's one supportive wife!
