Lily Collins isn't the only actress joining the Lancôme family today: Penélope Cruz is the new spokesmodel for the brand's Trésor Lumineuse fragrance.
"I love what Trésor represents because, to me, it's an homage to all women and femininity," she shared.
For her first commercial for the scent, the star worked with Chicago director Rob Marshall on a love story featuring the floral perfume. "Rob is amazing! Besides being such a talented director, he's one of my favorite human beings because he's really special," she gushed.
Equally enamored was the famed director who also had high praise for the Academy Award winner: "There's no one like Penélope Cruz, she's this great beauty, of course, but it's not just external the internal beauty can bring such depth to what she does."
Clearly the duo work well together. And so for their latest project they decided to up the ante."It's not just like one more commercial it's almost like a short film," explained Cruz.
For her role, she plays a gorgeous actress in love—hardly a stretch for her. And although in the ad her true love is a boxer, in real life she just welcomed her second child with hubby Javier Bardem.
This new ad marks her return to the screen (small, that is) since giving birth to her daughter. As for the silver screen, she (and her husband) will star in The Counselor, which is set to hit theaters later this month.
