We never took Mr. and Mrs. Coach as a will-they-or-won't-they kind of couple, but in terms of the Friday Night Lights movie, that is exactly what's happening. As in, will this movie happen or not? According to Connie Britton, the answer will probably bum you out.

Britton, she of flawless hair and face and everything else, appeared on Watch What Happens Live on Monday night to talk about the chances of Dillon, Texas, continuing its story on the big screen.

"You know, there's been a lot of talk about a lot of things. And some people are really excited about it, and other people aren't," Britton told host Andy Cohen. "I love the idea. I think it would be a great idea. But my former husband, Coach Eric Taylor…"

That's when Cohen asked if Kyle Chandler is the one who isn't onboard with the FNL movie, asking, "He thinks you did it already?"

"Well, and he has a point," Britton reasoned. "And we would only do it if it was gonna be a great movie. That's the thing."

This summer at the Fragrance Foundation Awards, Britton revealed that she and Chandler are definitely not seeing eye to eye on a film continuation of the critically adored NBC drama.

"When they asked the question at the [Austin Television Festival] panel I kind of looked over at Kyle, because I feel like he and I are sort of on different sides of the fence with the movie idea," she told us. "I think it's gonna be up to more than just us, actually. But we'll see. It'll be fun, I think."

Figure it out, you two!

Also coming to light during Watch What Happens Live was the reason behind Tami and Eric never having any romantic scenes that went beyond kissing.

"In the second episode ever, they wrote us a big sex scene that opened the episode," Britton said "And [Chandler] was so uncomfortable with it and it was so terrible that it was cut out of the show and we never had a sex scene again for the rest of Friday Night Lights."

FNL fans, it seems like the chances of this movie happening are getting slimmer and slimmer. Do you want to see a film based on the Dillon characters or just leave the legacy as it is?
