After Kanye West sprung his birthday surprise on Kim Kardashian Monday night by asking for her hand in marriage, we're now learning what the happy couple did post-engagement.

A source tells E! News that Kimye returned to the St. Regis San Francisco Hotel where they walked into the lobby shortly after midnight all smiles, seemingly left alone with no sign of any crowds or paparazzi.

Keeping Up With the Kardashians matriarch, Kris Jenner, arrived about 15 minutes later with a few people carting loads of engagement gifts they received after the lavish affair earlier in the evening when Kanye popped the question at San Francisco's AT&T Park.

Not only did the Yeesus rapper propose via the field's jumbotron, but he hired out with a 50-piece orchestra to serenade the reality star, who turned 33 yesterday, with Lana Del Rey's "Young and Beautiful" and Keri Hilson, Ne-Yo and Kanye's "Knock You Down."

Of course, Kim said yes to North West's daddy much to the pair's delight, not to mention jewelry designer Lorraine Schwartz, whom Kanye worked with to design the massive 15-carat diamond Kim's now sporting.

Only hours before he got down on bended knee, Mr. West gave a radio interview to San Francisco's 106 KMEL in which kept his engagement plans under wraps—though he did hint that a long-term commitment might be in the offing.

"I've never loved any girl other than my mother as much as I love my girlfriend. And I'm so happy to be with her, for us to live this life together and with our relationship with God to be able to live forever in heaven together too. And also to raise a strong family," said Yeezy. "It communicates truth and beauty and we have a good time while we're doing it just by being creative."

He added that they both share certain creative instincts which bring them closer too.

"This girl is one of the number one designers in the world," Kanye said. "She's been spending her check on clothes since she was 16 just like me and that's the reason why the both of us are the most influential."

West remarked that he and Kardashian are "influential" primarily due to the paparazzi, but he admitted that the newly minted blonde is helping him "learn to chill."

When asked if he planned to marry Kim, Kanye gave a big smile but demurred.

"I just feel so blessed," he said, adding, "I'm not answering any of those questions."

West is scheduled to perform in San Jose tonight, and if his fans are lucky, maybe he'll let slip a wedding date.
