Lady Gaga Is a Wild Vision in White While Being Honored at Glamour's Women of the Year Awards

Singer gets top honors at the annual event held in New York City.

Just when you think Lady Gaga's outfits couldn't surprise you anymore—this happens.

The pop singer, whose latest album ARTPOP dropped today, did what she does best and made a memorable entrance at the Glamour's 2013 Women of the Year Awards at Carnegie Hall in New York City tonight.

Gaga arrived wearing an all-white ensemble with a huge blond wig and powdered white makeup, along with very detailed white platform heels.

This evening was especially special for the celeb. The musician was receiving top honors tonight after being named Glamour's Woman of the Year.

Hosted by Seth Meyers, this year's event supports The Malala Fund, which helps programs that support education for girls around the world.

Glamour Editor-in-Chief Cindi Leive explained, "Glamour's Women of the Year awards are all about saluting women whose work helps to change the world, and that mission has clearly been accomplished with this year's group of honorees. I'm so blown away by the range of achievement, bravery, depth, smarts, and moxie they have demonstrated."

According to the mag, the A-lister was chosen for this accolade because, "When you interact with her, you become very aware of your life, your possibilities. You walk away thinking, OK, let's do it."

Noted for her musical success, the magazine also recognized Gaga for her Born This Way Foundation which helps to end bullying.
