On Wednesday, Nov. 20 , E! News confirmed that the former O.C. stud and the 27-year-old actress got engaged after less than a year of dating, and one day later, the erstwhile Gossip Girl beauty appeared at a promotional event in Shanghai for skin care company Biotherm.
And while the actress undoubtedly looked beautiful in her jumpsuit by Marchesa Voyage, there was one thing noticeably missing from her ensemble...her engagement ring!
Meester, who wore her short brown hair in soft curls, was glowing at the event, flashing a subtle smile as she took the stage in the midst of the widespread Internet chatter surrounding the couple's engagement.
Meanwhile, Leighton's fiancé was across the globe from his ladylove in Los Angeles today, where the former O.C. stud was seen leaving his boxing class.
Brody looked casual and sporty as he exited the gym, wearing a pair of black basketball shorts, a red hoodie sweatshirt, tennis shoes and a baseball cap. He carried a large green tote, added a pair of dark shades and rocked a scruffy beard and 'stache (perhaps he's honoring Movember?), appearing relaxed and at ease after ending his workout.
Dare we suggest Brody is already beefing up his bod for his wedding day?!
The notoriously private couple has neither confirmed nor denied the engagement news, and, seeing as they have yet to even publicly confirm their romance, we doubt they'll be issuing a big announcement.
The twosome were most recently seen holding hands in NYC and have been photographed together a handful of times while out and about in Los Angeles.
Brody and Meester both worked together on the 2011 film The Oranges before they began spending time together romantically in 2013.
Prior to Adam, Leighton dated actor Aaron Himelstein, whom she met on the set of Remember the Daze, and before Aaron, she was romantically linked to her former Gossip Girl costar Sebastian Stan. Brody, meanwhile, was said to be seeing director and screenwriter Lorene Scafaria back in 2010, and, during the height of The O.C.'s popularity, he dated costar Rachel Bilson from 2003 to 2006.
