Well, Kim Kardashian did say that one of the first things she did after getting engaged was let baby North West try on her massive rock.
And now the betrothed E! star has provided evidence of just how cute it looks when someone tiny gets a hold of something so big, sharing a photo on Instagram last night of her 6-month-old daughter's little hand holding mom's 15-carat diamond ring.
"It was an amazing year!!!" Kim wrote, a nod to what truly was a life-changing 2013 for her. She and Kanye West welcomed North on June 15 and then he popped the question in epic fashion on Oct. 21.
North, of course, is getting pretty used to fancy things by now. In addition to getting showered with designer gifts for Christmas, she's also got a wee black Lamborghini to match her dad's.
Following the big Christmas bash at Kris Jenner's house, the trio have been on a ski trip in Park City, Utah, with Kourtney Kardashian and Scott Disick, their kids and Keeping Up With the Kardashians matriarch Kris Jenner.
The adults toasted marshmallows and made s'mores over an outdoor fire pit with the kids on Monday. Kim also bundled up in a fur-trimmed jacket and hit the slopes with Kourtney, and Mason and Penelope's mom stepped into town for a little retail therapy with Kris as well.
And it sounds as if the cozy, low-key fun continued on New Year's Eve.
"I hope everyone has a safe New Years tonight! Nothing better than spending it with family & friends playing board games ;-)" Kim tweeted.
