New York Fashion Week officially kicked off today, and the excitement is already well underway at Lincoln Center!
We caught up with the lovely Giada De Laurentiis before she entered the BCBGMAXAZRIA runway show earlier today, and couldn't' help but ask how she's taking in her fashion week experience so far.
After all, the celebrity chef is set to make her first modeling debut this evening at the Heart Truth Dress Collection show.
"I'm super excited; I've never done this before. I used to think being a model and walking the runway was an easy job, but I have changed my mind. I have so much respect for those women because it's a tough job!" the TV star shared with a bright smile.
And while she's a newbie to the catwalk, she tells us she's been practicing on her own for days.
"I've sort of not asked anybody [for help.] I kind want it to be my own experience!"
Kudos to you, Giada! We know you'll rock that runway.
And just as Giada took off to find her seat inside the tent, we scored some face time with Lubov Azria, the brand's creative director for her take on the show ahead.
"We're really focusing on our 25-year anniversary, and celebrating the brand's timeless elegance and affordable luxury," she shared. "I still have the same designer that did the first show. It brings back memories!"
