Jay Z is making moves!

The rapper and Los Angeles Mayor Eric Garcetti announced that the Budweiser Made in America music festival will be coming to Los Angeles over Labor Day weekend. The two-day event is said to take place in the city's downtown area, from the steps of City Hall to Grand Park.

According to the mayor, over 50,000 people are expected to attend this year's music festival—making it the first event of its kind to take place in the area.

Amid growing criticism that the event would cause disruption for the neighborhood, Garcetti said that Made in America would do nothing but help the city's economy.

The music festival first began in 2012 with Pearl Jam and Jay Z headlining. The Grammy winner's wife, Beyoncé, headlined last year alongside Nine Inch Nails.

Both years the festival was held at the Benjamin Franklin Parkway in Philadelphia. But fans don't necessarily have to come to the West Coast to get in on the fun as the event will take place in Philly as well.

Made in America is now being dubbed the first American music festival to run simultaneously on both coasts.

There's no word yet on who will be headlining this round, or who is on the lineup altogether.

"Los Angeles you all should be very proud," Jay Z said during the announcement. "Two years ago this was a dream of mine to put a festival together that had all types of music…a music festival that blurred the lines of genres."

He concluded, "I love that the festival will be in the middle of the city. Not too far away. No disrespect to any other festival." (Hear that, Coachella?!)
