A lot of really messed up stuff happened during the Scandal season finale. Not the least of which was when they used a large desk chair to basically just completely hide Kerry Washington.
The second half of this season started with a few loose-fitting blouses and large purses, then more and more props were added in front of the camera (a lot of chairs, Mellie's head) until all you could see was Kerry Washington's non-pregnant eye (see above).
