The Bachelor contestant and Dancing With the Star: All-Stars winner gave birth to a baby boy in Dallas, Texas, Sunday. Named Beckett Thomas, the newborn weighed 7 lbs., 7 oz., and measured 19.2 inches. Married since December 2009, Rycroft and Strickland are also parents to daughter Ava Grace, born in February 2011.
"This little guy has been teasing us about his arrival for the last month so it is only fitting that he surprise us with his arrival on Easter Sunday. He's perfect and beautiful," Rycroft tells E! News. "Ava can't wait for us to bring him home to be able to show us all of the big sister duties she's been practicing."
Indeed, on April 16, Rycroft tweeted about her son's imminent arrival, writing, "Little man has officially cooked longer than his big sis did. I know babies come when they're ready but I'm ready to help him pack his bags!"
Rycroft announced her pregnancy in October 2013 and revealed the baby's gender the following month.
