Sochi Olympics' breakout stars are returning to NBC once again to cover the 2014 Kentucky Derby, it was announced Tuesday. The former figure skaters turned fashion correspondents will broadcast from Churchill Downs leading up to the event May 3.

"It's not just a two-minute race," Rob Hyland, coordinating producer for the NBC Sports Group, said in a statement. "Of course, the two-minute race is extremely important, but our job is to capture the venue and the day—it's a huge celebration—as creatively and poignantly as possible."

Lipinski explained that she and Weir have just "always loved loud fashion and sort of bonded over it," admitting their "whole Olympics experience was a bit of a surprise. We came in and were focused on doing a good job as rookies. But we're young and we like to have fun. The fashion was specifically for us every day and it was like,'Oh, people are watching. This is fun.'"

Weir, not wanting his personal ups and downs to distract from his wardrobe and race-day coverage, explained, "what you're wearing is often the loudest statement you can make."

We'll be listening thenand watching, of course!
