After OK! Magazine claimed that 27-year-old star and boyfriend Jack Antonoff had broken up after having a big fight on the streets of NYC, Dunham took to Twitter to laugh off the false report.
"Despite everything I've seen and done, I still believe most of what I read... ...so when an article claimed Jack & I had broken up after a display of street rage, I was all 'what? can't we try and work it out?'" the actress tweeted today.
The mag claimed that the two parted ways after a massive blow-out fight. "Lena was screaming at the top of her lungs, saying, 'I can't believe you!' over and over, with tears in her eyes," an onlooker reportedly told OK!.
Hours before Lena debunked the tabloid tale, she was busy posting about Jack, tweeting, "My boyfriend is real lucky bc all my crushes are from the seventies," she wrote before adding, "But my boyfriend is also unlucky bc half the time I have a bad lil attitude
See, no couple is perfect, right?
The adorable duo has been romantically linked since September 2012 and currently shares an apartment together in NYC.
In October 2013, Dunham penned a love letter to her Fun. musician beau in which she describes their effortless relationship.
"And I thought of you, like always, and I felt I could spend four days on a bench with you and it wouldn't be enough time to hear all the stories you have to tell," she wrote. "I literally want to know everything you have ever seen and what you felt like while you were seeing it. And I will be so much better my whole life for knowing those things."
