Were you a little freaked out by "Crazy Eyes" on Orange Is the New Black? So was Chelsea Handler!

The Chelsea Lately host was so convinced by Uzo Aduba's performance that initially, she couldn't differentiate the actress from her character. Or, as she put it the Emmy nominee on Thursday's show, "I really did think you had something wrong with you!"

Uza was amused, laughing wholeheartedly at the late-night host, who clarified, "Now I see you in real life, and I'm like, 'Oh my god, you're actually like a female! You're sweet with a dress on, and you can talk.' I thought you were f--king crazy!"

Chelsea took a playful dig at Uzo's co-star Natasha Lyonne, too, saying, "It'd be amazing if you won an Emmy award for just going down on a bunch of people!"

Ha! Natasha took the goodnatured jab in stride, answering laughingly, "Thank you, thank you. You know, for me, it's all about the work. and it's an honor just to be nominated!"

Things took another interesting turn when Chelsea asked about the ladies' real-life prison pasts. The late-night host also dug deep finding out the details of the "abandoned children's psychiatric ward" where Orange Is the New Black is shot, with both Uzo and Natasha admitting it's a rather, um, creepy work environment.

Watch the Chelsea Lately clip above to find out all about Uzo and Natasha's secrets from behind bars!
