Giuliana Rancic made waves last week when she unveiled her new blond 'do, but as with any "drastic hair change," her color transformation was met with mixed reviews.
E! News caught up with G's Fashion Police costar Joan Rivers, who was more than happy to weigh in on her pal's decision to ditch her dark locks. And in typical Rivers fashion, she provided an honest (and blunt) response.
"I don't like it," she admitted to E!'s Jason Kennedy. "I think for her skin tone, I like her better dark. But it's up to her and Bill [Rancic]."
Well, at least we know how she really feels.
Last week, the stunning mother of one decided that she wanted to change her tresses and opted to document her makeover in a video.
"I'm a big fan of 'go big or go home,' so I don't wanna do like wishy-washy. If I'm gonna do blond, I wanna do blond," she said. "So I'm thinking, I don't know, I want a change. Hair is temporary, it's not like plastic surgery, so it's fun to change your hair here and there."
During the interview, we were also surprised to learn that the formerly brunette beauty decided to debut the new look before she told her hubby Bill about her new hairstyle.
And while Joan may be comfortable criticizing her costar's new color, she approved of G's decision to keep the change a secret from her other half.
"I think when you're married that long you gotta keep surprising him," she said. "He should never walk in and know who he's going to meet."
Following the E! star's dye job, Giuliana admitted that the new 'do is "kinda cray."
"It's shocking to see," she continued to say. "I'll go to the mirror and on the way there I'm thinking to myself, 'It's gonna be shocking, it's blond,' and then I get to the mirror and I'm like, 'Whoa, whoa, whoa! It's really blond!' I don't know, this week I was just thinking about it and I'm like, I just wanna go really blond, no highlights, nothing, just bam blond."
She added that she's "loving" the new look, which, in the end, is all that matters!
