It's finally here!

After taking several years off from the music scene, Hilary Duff's highly anticipated comeback single "Chasing the Sun" has just made its way onto the Internet.

The pop star announced that the track's title after signing a record deal with RCA Records. The upbeat, catchy tune was co-written by Toby Gad, Colbie Caillat and Jason Reeves, and is sure to please all of her fans out there.

The tune leaked a bit early, however, and won't be available for digital download until tomorrow—the same day the music video is scheduled to debut on Vevo.

"'Chasing the Sun' is just a peek into my new album," the 26-year-old told E! News recently

"I've worked very hard and the album is a great representation of the experiences I've had in my life and where I want to go from here!"

She continued, "I couldn't be more excited to join the RCA family! I came to them with my vision for the album and it has been a real labor of love, but something I am so proud of."

Duff also briefly explained why it was important to her to step away from the industry for a short while before heading back into the recording studio.

"I took a break from music for quite a while, [and] it gave me the power to choose my next steps carefully," she shared. "'Chasing the Sun' is a light and fun summer song that I hope helps people to feel a little more carefree."
