Justin Theroux is an egg-celent gift giver.

The Leftovers actor stopped by E!'s Chelsea Lately Monday, where host Chelsea Handler ribbed him about giving their "mutual friends" fresh-laid eggs as presents. "We have chickens at the house," the screenwriter said. "There's one cock in the house," he joked. "I don't want them keeping me awake in the morning."

Why do Theroux and fiancée Jennifer Aniston give the eggs away, though?

"We have too many of them," the 42-year-old actor told 39-year-old Handler. "We have about 10 chickens and each of them lays a couple a day, so we have too many eggs. But they always think we're being really sweet, like this farm and table thing where you bring a bunch of eggs. We're just slipping on eggs at the house."

That's not all Theroux discussed with Handler.
