Ever since Blake Lively launched her lifestyle website, Preserve, the comparisons have been flying.

Goop goddess Gwyneth Paltrow is the obvious comparison, but she's not the golden-haired icon Blake aspires to be. That would be the one, the only Martha Stewart.

Blake sang the praises of Martha in the August issue of Vogue, gushing, "I've only ever found her to be completely generous and kind. She's one of those people who connect people with each other. She's there for you."

The 26-year-old actress also credited Martha for saving her wedding. "She called her friends who have a home in South Carolina and set us up at the most amazing getaway," said Blake to Vogue. "This is the day of our wedding!"

So what does Martha think about Blake wanting to be the next Martha? The 72-year-old mogul told The Huffington Post, "Let her try." Tough talk. Looks like Martha just threw down the gauntlet.

Not so fast. Martha quickly followed up her sassy "let her try" quip with, "I don't mean that facetiously! I mean, it's stupid, she could be an actress! Why would you want to be me if you could be an actress? I just did a movie yesterday, though—I can't even tell you about it—but I want to be Blake Lively."

Our interest is piqued about this whole Martha Stewart movie thing, but she's staying mum on the topic.

So, more on Blake…Well, looks like Martha loves Blake. And Blake loves Martha. It's a veritable lovefest! Something tells us they'll be sending each other an elaborate bouquet of handpicked flowers.
