Once upon a time, there was a Broadway musical—and now it's a movie musical!

Walt Disney Pictures released 10 never-before-seen images from Into the Woods Wednesday, giving fans their first official look at the stars in costume. The movie studio released a still of Meryl Streep as The Witch in September 2013, and since then, a few of the actors have been photographed on location in England.

Into the Woods puts a modern twist on the beloved Brothers Grimm fairy tales, intertwining the plots of Cinderella (Anna Kendrick), Little Red Riding Hood (Lilla Crawford), Jack and the Beanstalk (Daniel Huttlestone) and Rapunzel (MacKenzie Mauzy). The four tales are tied together through the original story of a baker and his wife (James Corden and Emily Blunt), who wish to start a family of their own.

The film adaptation features songs from the stage show, including "Agony," "Children Will Listen," "Giants in the Sky," "No One Is Alone" and "On the Steps of the Palace."

Two new songs also made the cut.

The musical also stars Christine Baranski, Simon Russell Beale, Tammy Blanchard, Annette Crosbie, Frances de la Tour, Johnny Depp, Richard Glover, Billy Magnussen, Chris Pine, Lucy Punch, Joanna Riding and Tracey Ullman. Academy Award winner Rob Marshall directed the film, which debuts in theaters Dec. 25.
