The world really needs to stop writing about PatoMuzic, but that's hard to do when they're producing hit after hit! First it was "Friday." Next came "It's Thanksgiving" and "Chinese Food." When will it end?!
Hopefully it'll end with "Cupcakes," because this song-video combo raises more questions than answers. The video starts with Gina Naomi Baez venting to her dog about them not being allowed on the beach. Suddenly, they're "having the time of our lives…then we're, like, so hungry" and demanding cupcakes.
We just have so many questions, like:
Where did these cupcakes come from and how did they fit in that bag?
How many times did Baez and this poor attempt at a homeless man practice their cupcake toss?
How do we get ourselves a dog half as majestic and sophisticated as Tinkerbelle the Dog?
Couldn't they have re-shot these poor, uncoordinated girls? If this was our millisecond of fame, we'd be pissed.
Has this girl ever seen a cupcake before? Or, better question, do her parents even feed her?
Is this the only point in the video in which someone actually gives Baez "one of those cupcakes"? She's been trying the whole G.D. video.
Honestly, this Pato character has got to stop making music. But never fear, as long as he continues to do so, we will be here to poke fun and then get the song embarrassingly stuck in our heads.
