Break out the itty-bitty gold shorts, Sam's back!

Glee is set to kick off its sixth and final season in 2015, with a whole lot of secrecy surrounding the plot and cast members who will be returning for the Fox drama's swan song. So we're sure Gleeks everywhere will be happy to hear we'll be getting to see more of Sam Evans' celeb impressions as Chord Overstreet confirmed to E! News that he's "back to work in September" for the final 13 episodes.

"I assume I will be in all of the episodes," Overstreet spilled to E! News at the premiere of The Expendables 3, where he was supporting his roommate, Glen Powell. (You know, typical roommate bonding for a Monday night!)

And while he doesn't know a whole lot about the storylines the Glee writers are cooking up, he was able to tease, "I know I am back in Ohio at the school." (Fingers crossed he's still modeling!) It looks like Sam will be interacting with some of McKinley High's newbies as Glee is currently casting five new sophomores, including twin Cheerios (one male and one female) and a gay football stud.

Overstreet also added, "I know the writers are three to four episodes in right now and from what I've heard it's really fun stuff." Fun? On Glee? Never!

So who else is back for Glee's final season? We know Lea Michele and Chris Colfer are returning as Rachel and Kurt, despite what Twitter hackers want you to believe, Darren Criss is back as Blaine, while the recently-married Naya Rivera will have a reduced role as she will no longer be a series regular.

Beyond that, creator Ryan Murphy said that any former Glee cast member who wants to return for the final season will be welcomed with open arms, and presumably, no slushies to the face. "My feeling about the last season of Glee is very clear, and that is that we will be reaching out to all of the regulars on the show, that original group of Glee club members and the teachers, and anybody who wants to come back can come back," he said. "Anybody who wants to be a part of the show, we welcome them."

Glee's final 13-episode season will kick off at midseason on Fox.
