The Toronto International Film Festival is coming up and the list of movies confirmed is really looking good. We always look forward to this time of year. From the drumming thriller Whiplash to the latest comedy from Chris Rock, the line-up is exiting and diverse. Although there are a lot of established actors and directors taking part, TIFF often shines the spotlight on quality films with memorable performances from up-and-comers. This year's TIFF is set to launch the careers of a lot of future A-list Oscar winners. Here are five people to watch out for at the Toronto International Film Festival.

Every Guy In The Riot Club:

Yes. We are already cheating. You might already be familiar with a couple of these guys but this ensemble cast is going to take the fest by storm. The lead actors in the movie are Sam Claflin aka Finnick Odair from The Hunger Games and Douglas Booth from Jupiter Ascending and Noah. The men in this movie are terribly attractive and are very good at acting manipulative and seductive. If anything these pretty faces (and also very talented actors) will be some of the most photographed festival attendees.

Miles Teller:

His new movie Whiplash is arguably the festival pick with the most hype going in to TIFF. Miles and his co-star JK Simmons are almost a lock for at least some major award nominations come next year. The movie tells the story of a jazz drumming prodigy played by Miles who is schooled and abused by a tyrannical drumming teacher. Miles has mostly made his mark in Hollywood with bro-y comedies mixed with flashes of dramatic genius in some smaller indies. This movie will really catapult him to super stardom.

Brit Marling:

We ride or die by Brit Marling. This bright young movie star can do it all. Act, write, direct and solve any economic query you send her. Seriously. She graduated from Georgetown University with a degree in economics, interned at Goldman Sachs and then left after finding no meaning there. So instead she turned her talents to more creative goals in some of the best films of the past ten years; Another EarthSound of My Voice and The East. At TIFF she stars in The Keeping Room about three women who have to defend themselves against murderous soldiers during The American Civil War.

Brady Corbet:

Brady Corbet is appearing in four movies at TIFF this year, EdenWhile We're Young, Escobar: Paradise Lost and Force Majeure. Although his roles seem small, there is something to be said about having more than one movie at the festival, especially if that means four times the press and four times the exposure. Heck, Daniel Radcliffe was in three films last year and that did very well for him. You may remember Brady from a TIFF film a few years ago, Melancholia, where he stars as a young man with eyes for Kirsten Dunst. If he plays it right, this festival will lead to even bigger things for next year.

Jon Stewart:

Okay, you may have heard of this guy before. He is kind of a big star already. Although he has taken a few acting gigs (see: Big Daddy), he really has solidified his fame as the host of The Daily Show with Jon Stewart. Now he has expanded his CV to include director. He took time off from his show last year to work on his new film, Rosewater starring Gael Garcia Bernal. The movie is about an Iranian Canadian journalist who was imprisoned by the Iranian government not long after an appearance on The Daily Show. It has already gotten a lot of Oscar buzz. So look out for this up and coming director to make a splash at TIFF.
