Rob Kardashian may be back in the public eye sooner than later.

As Keeping Up With the Kardashians viewers know, Rob has eschewed the spotlight in order to privately address his personal problems. Though his weight remains a concern, a source tells E! News exclusively that he's still in therapy and has been exercising and eliminating junk food from his diet. "He hates being big, but he gained all that weight from being depressed," the source says. "He wants to lose over 50 lbs."

Now that he's living with big sister Khloé Kardashian, the source says the siblings hope to motivate each other to work out and eat healthy. "He's also planning to attend more events and look into new business ventures," the source says of Rob. For the time being, however, "He's taking it slow [and] feeling great."

Khloé, perhaps more so than anyone else in the famous family, has been able to level with the sock designer. "Rob and Khloé have always been tight. And Khloé has been there 100 percent for Rob since he's been going through hard times," the source says. "Also, Rob and [Lamar Odom] were really close, and after Khloé and Lamar split, it was so hard for Rob. He felt like he lost a brother that he had always wanted. Khloé knows how depressed he's been and is probably closer with him than any of her sisters."

The support goes both ways. "Rob also helped Khloé through the divorce with Lamar," the source tells E! News of the trio, who lived together for several years. "He was really there for her more than anyone."

Though Rob missed Kim Kardashian's wedding and skipped a family trip to Thailand, he's back on track. Kris Jenner had "been so worried" about her son, per the source, but she is "very relieved Rob is living with Khloé." Of course, the source says, "The whole family is pulling for him. Even [Kanye West] has been reaching out to him more and showing he cares. They are all his biggest cheerleaders right now."
