But the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge managed to do just that late last week at the Kings Head Hotel in Great Bircham.
E! News has learned that the two escaped for a date night dinner and enjoyed a low-key, romantic meal by themselves.
Eyewitnesses caught a glimpse of the world famous duo, and were shocked to see them dining alongside them.
"I actually thought it was just a couple that looked like them when they walked in," an onlooker tells us. "Because Kate walked in with no makeup and had fresh out-of-the-shower damp hair. It was so down to Earth. They were both wearing jeans and jumpers and were holding hands like any normal couple who were out for a bite to eat on a rare night away from their baby."
Prince George's parents both ordered the sea bream with roasted vegetables and shared a vanilla ice cream dessert with two spoons.
The brunette fashionista sipped on a glass of white wine while William opted to drink a soda as their security sat nearby to ensure their utmost safety.
Our source also adds that William was extremely attentive of Kate, making sure she was seated before him and not starting to eat before she was served. Such manners!
