Getty ImagesHilary Duff isn't entirely certain what the future holds as far as her love life is concerned, but one thing is pretty clear, she's not getting back together with Aaron Carter.
During a recent interview with Buzzfeed, the former Disney starlet was asked about her former flame—who has professed his undying love for her via Twitter multiple times in the recent months—and whether or not she would consider rekindling their romance.
"I was not expecting this question," Duff said with a laugh.
"He does, I keep seeing that, that he keeps doing that. I don't know how I feel. I mean, that was so long ago, and obviously I'm still married and I have a baby and we kind of just…don't know each other. So, yeah…"
Back in May, just months after Duff revealed that she was separating from Mike Comrie, Carter posted the following message on Twitter:
"Don't be that stupid dick that loses that love of your life forever. Like me…I'll spend the rest of my life trying to better myself to get back to her. I don't care what any of you think."
And when asked by a fan if he was referring to the bubbly blonde, he replied, "Sure am."
The "Chasing the Sun" singer said on KIIS 106.5'sThe Kyle & Jackie O Show that while she and Comrie, the father of her 2-year-old son Luca, have "uncoupled, for now," there's still the chance of a reconciliation down the road.
"I mean, if there wasn't a chance for getting back [together], I think we would've filed for divorce," she explained.
