Watch: Why Whitney Port Missed Lauren Conrad's Wedding

The Hills are alive...with the sound of wedding bells!

Former reality star Lauren Conrad married William Tell along the California coastline on Saturday—the same day that Holly Montag (coincidentally?) tied the knot with Richie Wilson in the erstwhile MTV star's hometown of Crested Butte, Colo.

So of course, when E! News caught up with former Hills star Whitney Port—who just also happens to be engaged to Tim Rosenman—on Tuesday night when she hosted the LinkedIn Discussion Series where she spoke about building her brand, we had to ask the blond bombshell about her upcoming nuptials to the former associate producer of The City as well as Conrad's recent I-dos, which, unfortunately, the TV personality was unable to attend.

Wearing lob haircut in a sleek and straight style while sporting a trendy, monochromatic sweater, the 29-year-old fashion designer shared her well wishes for her newlywed pal and admitted she was bummed to have missed Lauren's big day.

"I emailed Lauren this weekend, I wasn't able to go to the wedding unfortunately," Port lamented to E! News. "I really wanted to go, but I couldn't and I'm so so thrilled and happy for her."

In the meantime, the soon-to-be Mrs. Rosenman has been busy planning her own I-dos, sharing how she's trying to keep the process as easy and relaxed as possible.

"I'm definitely not nervous. I'm really excited," she dished. "I'm at the beginning of the planning stages. I've taken my time with it. I don't really feel a lot of pressure, you know, I feel like it's something super-exciting to plan and why put so much pressure on yourself about something like that?"

No bridezilla here! And turns out, Port has never been the type of gal who has always dreamed about her wedding day.

"I really wasn't always one of those girls that pictured what my wedding would be like or pictured having this fairy-tale wedding," she confessed. "So I think that's why I'm so easy-going about it—I know it's going to be a reflection of us and I know just like a special weekend to share with all of our loved ones."

So is there anything that will cause her to lose her cool? Watch the clip to find out!
