Jimmy Fallon has already competed with the likes of Joseph Gordon-Levitt, John Krasinski and Emma Stone during his epic Tonight Show lip sync battles, and on Wednesday, it was Gwen Stefani and Blake Shelton's turn to show off their skills. But was the NBC late-night host a match for the Voice coaches?

Shelton walked on stage with a drink on hand, naturally, before he and Stefani got down to business. No one knew which two songs his or her opponent picked ahead of time, making the challenge even harder.

Fallon chose Shelton to go first. The "Boys 'Round Here" singer, 38, selected Taco's classic "Puttin' on the Ritz." Not only did he mime the lyrics, but Shelton handed his glass of bubbly to Fallon in order to tap dance. Yes, tap dance! "I didn't need to speak," Shelton joked as Fallon walked towards the microphone.

After adjusting the microphone—Shelton stands tall at 6-foot-5—Fallon performed Ellie Goulding's "Burn." He even used a prop—but we won't spoil the surprise. Watch the video to find out what it was!

Stefani, 44, chose Carly Rae Jepsen's "Call Me Maybe." Incorporating some of her own signature moves, the singer danced and jumped around the stage. At one point, Stefani shook her booty in front of Fallon! "Oh, my goodness," Fallon said, laughing. "Gwen Stefani just did Carly Rae Jepsen. That was awesome."

For Shelton's second song, he chose Starship's "Nothing's Gonna Stop Us Now." Fallon, 39, followed up with Spike Jones' "Cocktails for Two." Stefani ended with Lionel Richie and Diana Ross' "Endless Love." The No Doubt frontwoman's finale included a special twist, as Shelton decided to lip-sync Ross' verses.
