There's a reason that Tim McGraw and Faith Hill have one of the most enduring marriages in show business.
Or a few of them, actually—and probably some that McGraw wasn't willing to divulge when E! News caught up with him at SiriusXM headquarters to talk about his 13th studio album, Sundown Heaven Town.
"I think, for us, being as normal as possible and raising our family and being in a family situation as much as possible...Certainly it's different because of what we both do, but we try to keep it as much of a family environment that we can," said the 47-year-old country super-star, who has three daughters with Hill.
"And most of the time...we try to make that the priority and the primary time that we spend," McGraw continued. "For us, we leave the front doors when we go to work, but when we're home, we don't talk about none of the music that much…It's a whole different world."
Touring and performing together may have helped keep the couple close along the way as well.
"The chances that we've gotten to tour together, sing together, I mean, how many people get to do that in their lives?" he told Oprah Winfrey back in June for an episode of Oprah's Master Class.
"It amazes me every night, every chance that I get to sing with her," McGraw marveled over his wife's talent. He also choked up a bit, saying, "I think about the fact that we're married and the fact that we raised these three beautiful daughters. And then I think about having three daughters and having [Hill] for their mom. It's a pretty cool thing for those girls to have her."
