Zoe Saldana is getting personal.

The pregnant Guardians of the Galaxy star is opening up in a big way in her new AOL TV series My Hero, a new series which follows celebrities as they give uplifting, heartfelt and happy tear-inducing surprises to a special person who helped change their life. Some of the celebs set to appear? Julianne Hough, Maria Menounous and Michelle Monaghan.

And in addition to executive producing the series, which is set to debut on Friday, Oct. 24, Saldana is revealing her hero in the first episode. In a first look at My Hero, the private Saldana gets emotional while talking about her personal hero: her single mother, Asalia Nazario. Seriously, we dare you to watch the clip above of the Star Trek actress surprising her mother and not tear up. (If you don't, you may be a robot.)

In addition to My Hero, AOL TV also announced the premiere dates of their other series. Laugh Lessons with Kevin Nealon, which will feature Adam Sandler, Sarah Silverman, David Spade and more top comedians, will debut Monday, Oct. 6, while Nicole Richie's hilarious breakout hit #Candidly Nicole will return for its second season on Thursday, Oct. 9. In addition to Richie's signature crazy antics, expect appearances from Ryan Seacrest and Rashida Jones

On Friday, Oct. 10, True Trans with Laura Jane Grace, which stars the transgender lead singer of Against Me!, will premiere, and the Emmy-nominated series Future Starts Here with Tiffany Shian returns for its second season on Thursday, Oct. 23.
