Jenny McCarthy has been hacked as well.

The TV star and author is the latest major celebrity to have photographs stolen from her phone and splashed online—and authorities are on the case. But, according to her rep, the raciest of the photos purporting to be McCarthy are fakes.

"Certain photos claiming to be hacked photos of Jenny McCarthy and posted to various websites are not McCarthy at all, but someone else, including the most explicit nude photos," her rep said Tuesday in a statement to E! News. "Other photos are stills from a comedy skit from her TV special, Dirty, Sexy, Funny.

"A small number of photos are of McCarthy that were stolen from her hacked phone account," the statement continued. "McCarthy's representatives are reporting the theft to the FBI and contacting all websites posting the photos to demand the immediate removal of all personal and private photos of her, including nude photos."

As was the case with a number of other stolen photos of A-listers—both real and doctored—in various states of undress, the pics of McCarthy ended up on 4chan and Reddit. At first Reddit administrators had only warned users again posting illegal content (particularly nude pics said to be taken when a celeb was underage) but it took about a week for it to shut down r/TheFappening, the subreddit where the pics had proliferated.

Not that they necessarily wanted to shut it down...

"We would takedown images (thumbnails) in response to those DMCAs [Digital Millennium Copyright Act requests], but it quickly devolved into a game of whack-a-mole," explained a Reddit administrator earlier this month, per Complex. "We'd execute a takedown, someone would adjust, reupload, and then repeat. This same practice was occurring with the underage photos, requiring our constant intervention. It became obvious that we were either going to have to watch these subreddits constantly, or shut them down. We chose the latter."

McCarthy herself has not tweeted or otherwise commented via social media on the theft, but she did seem to be in good spirits earlier today.

"Good Tuesday Morning to all of u happy people out there. Xo," the newlywed tweeted her fans.
