Are you ready for some pretty, pretty, pretty cool news? Larry David recently told an audience that he has not given up on more Curb Your Enthusiasm

According to LA Weekly, David said, "I haven't given up the hope," which caused the audience to erupt with applause. "If I don't get that kind of feedback, honestly, I wouldn't have thought of [bringing it back] any more. I actually feel badly I don't have shows for them."

Praise whatever lord you may believe in; we might be getting more misadventures of our favorite social assassin, Curb's Larry David. The HBO comedy has been around for eight seasons, beginning with a 1999 TV movie. The primary cast included David, Jeff Garlin, Cheryl Hines, Susie Essman and J.B. Smoove.

"After eight seasons on Curb, I'm just not sure my ideas are gonna be good enough for a whole season," David said, according to Variety. The Emmy winner was speaking with director David Steinberg for "Citi Presents Larry David and David Steinberg in Conversation at the Theatre at Ace Hotel."

Here's hoping his turn in Fish in the Dark on Broadway, where he'll star opposite Rosie Perez, Jayne Houdyshell, Jonny Orsini, Jake Cannavale and Jerry Adler, will give David some new material. He also penned the play about a death in a family.

The fictional Larry David from Curb already made his Broadway debut in a production on The Producers opposite David Schwimmer. Curb's Larry David has also done battle with Michael J. Fox, competed with Rosie O'Donnell for a woman and reunited the cast of Seinfeld to try and win his wife back.

David's co-star Garlin, who currently stars in ABC's The Goldbergs, was on Watch What Happens Live on Monday night and was asked if there's a chance for a new season of Curb. "Oh yeah, definitely. I think we will do another season. I think. I don't know anything. Larry and I talk about it," he said. "But it's in my Goldbergs contract that if we do more Curb, I can do more Curb...I hope we do."

It's safe to say viewers' enthusiasm for Curb hasn't been curbed in the three years since the season eight finale.
