Some ladies might need an ice bucket all over again if this really catches on.

While apparently the new trending hashtag #feelingnuts is not a brand-new thing, it just received a, er, double dose of publicity today when Hugh Jackman took a moment at the gym to, well, feel his own nuts.

"I accept @sambranson," he captioned a pic of himself, celeb photographer Nigel Barker and a couple of other strapping gents grabbing their respective crotches. "#feelingnuts raising awareness for testicular cancer. Nominating @ActuallyNPH@michaelstrahan @rickygervais."

Jackman also posted a rather mesmerizing video of himself feeling and leaping at the same time, writing, "#feelingnuts in slomo! Raising awareness for testicular cancer. #youknowwhoyouare."

Meanwhile, Neil Patrick HarrisMichael Strahan and Ricky Gervais have been...challenged?

Well, that's how Gervais took it, and he accepted within the hour. (Seriously, how psyched does he look to be both grabbing his crotch and flipping off the camera?)

It shouldn't take too long to know whether #feelingnuts is the new Ice Bucket Challenge, the chilling yet heart-warming phenomenon that took the Internet by storm this summer, as celebs and civilians alike dumped freezing-cold water on themselves and ultimately donated over $100 million to the ALS Association.

If not that, maybe #feelingnuts could at least be the next LiveStrong!

But Jackman and Barker aren't the first celebs to take part. Celeb chef Jamie Oliver nominated Ed Sheeran when he posed for the cause on Sept. 21, and...hmm, we're not entirely sure whether or not Will Arnett knew he was part of a new phenomenon when he grabbed his junk and posted a pic all the way back on Aug. 28.
