Zach Galifianakis doesn't talk too much about his personal life.

In fact, the Birdman star kept his firstborn's name and gender secret for an entire year! But on Monday's Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon, the 45-year-old actor finally revealed he and wife Quinn Lundberg are the proud parents of a baby boy!

Initially, Galifianakis played coy with Jimmy Fallon on the top-secret matter. "We don't wanna find out until it's 16," he deadpanned. "We just call it 'It' right now. No, we haven't named it yet. It has a number right now."

Fallon played along, asking the Hangover star, "Can you tell us the number?"

"One," Galifianakis answered matter-of-factly. "It's the first one."

Ha. Then, for a brief moment, though, the funnyman got serious. "We have a boy!" he said, adding sweetly, "I think fatherhood is just the greatest thing, it really really is."

The North Carolina native quickly switched back gears, launching into a funny anecdote about bath time with his son, and how he "realized when we were bathing once, that his testicles fit perfectly in my belly button."

"I'm not a particularly religious person," he said, "but when I saw that, I was like,'Oh, there's a God.' It all makes sense now. It's by design."

As a former nanny, Galifianakis actually had "a little bit of experience with childcare" before his son's birth. Fallon, grabbing a pen and paper to take notes, asked Galifianakis for his advice on raising children.

"Discipline is very very important," he began. "Kids crave discipline. So, you know, prenatal spanking is important."

Galifianakis tried to keep a straight face as he delivered that one, but even he had to crack up at the ridiculousness of the idea. Obviously, he'd never lay a hand on baby Galifianakis. Justin Bieber, however, seemed to benefit from a Galifianakis belt-whoopin' last year on Between Two Ferns.
