Ringo Starr is swapping drumsticks for Skechers kicks!

The big-name shoe brand announced today that Starr will be the first-ever musician to face Skechers' Relaxed Fit footwear line. And given the iconic rocker's nature, we're expecting the spring campaign to drum up groovy-vibes like never before.

"Ringo possesses the charm, cool charisma and instant global recognition that will elevate awareness for our popular Relaxed Fit footwear collection," Skechers President Michael Greenberg said. "As we move from the sports world to the music world with this campaign, Ringo is the perfect ambassador to illustrate how our comfortable footwear helps keep you relaxed in any situation."

The 74-year-old is no stranger to high-profile campaigns either, landing a modeling gig with lux menswear design John Varvatos this fall. While we don't have any sneak peeks of The Beatles drummer's Skechers campaign pics, we're thinking they'll be something along the lines of sleek, sensational and effortlessly cool.

Starr is in good company with his latest gig, joining the ranks of Skechers spokesmodel alums like Joe Montana and Mark Cuban, who both repped the Relaxed Fit line in the past.

Look out for the campaign, coming spring 2015!
